Infliximab Infusion for Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

Infliximab (also called Remicade®) is a medication used in adults to reduce inflammation and induce and maintain remission in individuals with moderate to severe active Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.  It is often used when other therapies have not worked, but it is not a cure for Inflammatory Bowel Disease.  Remicade (Infliximab) is also used in other autoimmune diseases including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Psoriatic Arthritis and Plaque Psoriasis.

Entyvio is a Prescription Medicine Used in Adults with Moderate to Severe Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn's Disease

If you have moderate to severe ulcerative colitis (UC) or Crohn's disease (CD), and one or more of the following is true, talk to your healthcare provider and ask if ENTYVIO (also called Vedolizumab) may be right for you.

  • Certain other ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease medicines have not worked well enough.

  • Certain other ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease medicines cannot be tolerated.

  • You rely on steroids to control flare-ups.

Humira is a prescription medication in Adults with Crohn’s disease

It is administered by injection under the skin. You can administer it yourself in the comfort of your own home, either by a Pen or a prefilled syringe. By targeting and blocking the source of inflammation caused by moderate to severe Crohn’s disease, HUMIRA can help many adults achieve and maintain remission.
